Sprouted Moong Pakoda is one of the most favoured of recent trending snacks, Especially in the rainy season weather just adds the perfect romance of pakora and chai, and there aren't many who can resist these crunchy fritters.

- 125 grams green Mong Sprouts
- 5 tablespoon Rice flour
- 1 no. chopped Onion
- 2 nos. green Chillies
- 5 nos. Garlic cloves
- 1 inch Ginger
- 3 tablespoon Curd
- 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoon chopped Coriander leaves
- 1 teaspoon crushed roasted Cumin seeds
- ½ teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon Garam masala
- ½ teaspoon Salt (as per your taste)
- Pinch of Baking soda
- Cooking oil for frying
In a medium-size mixture jar add sprouted Green moong, then add the following ingredientschopped Onions, 2- Green Chillies, 5 nos. - Garlic cloves, Ginger, 1 teaspoon - crushed roasted Cumin seeds, ½ teaspoon Turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon - Garam masala, ½ teaspoon salt (as per your taste), Water (as per requirement) I have added 3 tablespoons of water.Blend all ingredients together until it becomes a paste. Transfer this paste into a big mixing bowl and add rice flour, chopped coriander leaves and a pinch of baking soda and mix it well.
Now add 3 tablespoons - curd, 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds to the above batter and mix well. Cover the lid and keep the batter for 10 minutes so that sprouts get saturated with rice flour. If the solution looks much thick, then add a little more water.
After 10 minutes remove the lid and beat the batter again for 2-3 minutes. Consistency of batter should not too much thick or thin. It should be like as shown in the photo below.
Further, turn on the gas and heat oil in a kadhai or frying pan on a high flame.
Pour a small drop of batter in oil and check if the oil is heated enough for frying.
Set the gas flame lower to medium flame and slowly add dumplings of a batter in oil with the help of a spoon. Fry 5-6 pakodas at a time. Fry the pakodas on both sides till they turn golden brown in colour.
Keep flipping the pakodas on both sides with the help of a strainer, so they will not get burnt. Once pakodas starts to change their colour golden brown remove the pakodas on a plate. Repeat the procedure for all pakodas.
Here's your crispy and healthy sprouted green moong pakodas are ready to serve.
You can serve it with Tomato ketchup, Pudina chutney or Tamarind chutney etc.
