As far as fruits go, watermelon is one of the lowest in calories — only 46 calories per cup (154 grams). That’s lower than even low-sugar fruits such as berries. Watermelon's high water content, antioxidants, and amino acids may make for a better workout. It's also high in potassium, a mineral that could cut down on cramps at the gym. You can sip watermelon juice after you sweat, too. Doing so could help prevent muscle soreness.

- 500 gms Watermelon pieces (remove all seed from watermelon)
- 2 tablespoon Sugar (as per taste)
- 2 teaspoon Roohafza syrup or (rose syrup)
- ¼ teaspoon Salt (as per taste)
- ¼ teaspoon Chat masala
- ½ piece Lemon (medium size)
- 5-6 nos. Mint leaves
- 6-8 nos. Ice cubes
Cut watermelon, separate red juicy part of from seeds.
Put watermelon pieces into a mixing jar, add sugar, salt, chaat masala, and squeeze a lemon into it.
Blend the watermelon until it is totally pulverized. This shouldn’t take more than a minute.
Pour the mixture through a sieve, fine mesh, or strainer
In Serving glasses, add 2-3 ice cubes, 2 mint leaves, and 1 teaspoon of roohafza syrup, If roohafza syrup is not available then you can add rose syrup.
Then pour watermelon juice over it up to the top and mix well with the help of a spoon.
Your special watermelon juice is ready.
If you want more chilled juice then add more ice cubes or refrigerate. Add 2 mint leaves at the top and serve.
1 - You can make watermelon juice without a blender by grating the watermelon or chopping it finely with a chopper then transfer the grated watermelon to a clean muslin cloth and squeeze all the juice.
2 - If the watermelon is not sweet enough then add sugar to it but it would be better to choose the right watermelon while purchasing.
3 - If you like the juice to be pulpy and thick then don’t strain it but the watermelon should be seedless.
4 - After sitting for a long time if the juice separates give it a swirl with a spoon.
If you like it plain then don’t add salt or lemon juice.
