Watermelon Juice Ingredients:

500 gms – Watermelon pieces (remove all seed from watermelon)
2 tablespoons – Sugar (as per taste)
2 teaspoons – Roohafza syrup or (rose syrup)
1/4 teaspoon – Salt (as per taste)
1/4 teaspoon – Chat masala
1/2 piece – Lemon (medium size)
5-6 nos. – Mint leaves
6-8 nos. – Ice cubes

 

Method for preparing Watermelon Juice with step by step photos:

 

1 – Wash the watermelon first, then cut it into large pieces, peel off the outer hard green part of the watermelon and cut juicy red parts into small pieces so that it can crush easily in your mixer, and don’t forget to remove seeds before blending it.

2 – Put watermelon pieces in the mixer jar and add sugar, salt, chat masala, then squeeze a lemon in it and blend the mixture. The pulp and juice will dissolve completely in a short time.

3 – Blend the watermelon until it is totally pulverized. This shouldn’t take more than a minute.

 

 

4 – Pour the mixture through a sieve, fine mesh, or strainer in a bowl.

5 – Now take two serving glasses and add 2-3 ice cubes, 2 mint leaves, and 1 teaspoon of roohafza syrup, If roohafza syrup is not available then you can add rose syrup. Then pour watermelon juice over it up to the top and mix well with the help of a spoon.

If you want more chilled juice then add more ice cubes and refrigerate. If you want, you can also decorate 1 to 2 mint leaves on top of the juice in the glass.

Notes:

1 – You can make watermelon juice without a blender by grating the watermelon or chopping it finely with a chopper then transfer the grated watermelon to a clean muslin cloth and squeeze all the juice.

2 – If the watermelon is not sweet enough then add sugar to it but it would be better to choose the right watermelon while purchasing.

3 – If you like the juice to be pulpy and thick then don’t strain it but the watermelon should be seedless.

4 – After sitting for a long time if the juice separates give it a swirl with a spoon.
If you like it plain then don’t add salt or lemon juice.
