Ingredients for Egg Paratha:
6 nos. – Boiled eggs
400 gms – Whole wheat flour
2 nos. – Medium size chopped onion
5-6 nos. – Garlic cloves
½ inch – Ginger piece
1 no. – Green Chilli
100 gms – Morzarella cheese
2 tablespoons – chopped Coriander leaves
5 tablespoons – Cooking oil (as per requirement)
½ teaspoon – cumin seeds
½ teaspoon – Garam masala
¼ teaspoon – Turmeric powder
1 teaspoon – red Chilli powder
Salt to taste (½ tsp for dough and ½ tsp for stuffing)
Method for preparing Egg Paratha with step by step photos:
For dough:
1 – Take whole wheat flour in a bowl, add 1 tablespoon hot cooking oil then add salt and mix well.
2 – Add water slowly and start kneading a dough-like regular chapati dough.
3 – Spread little oil over dough and cover and keep it for 30 minutes.
For stuffing:
4 – Boil the eggs for 5 minutes on medium flame, peel them and cut each egg into two parts then separate yellow yolk and keep aside in a bowl, Finley chop the egg whites into very small pieces or grate it.
5 – Blend Ginger, garlic and green chillies together and make it a fine paste
6 – Now Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan, add ½ tsp cumin seeds, then add chopped onions and saute till it becomes translucent.
7 – Add ginger, garlic and green chilli paste and fry till the raw smell from ginger-garlic goes away.
8 – Add turmeric powder, garam masala, red chilli powder and salt to taste as per the quantity given in the ingredients list.
9 – Now add finely chopped boiled egg whites in it and chopped coriander leaves and cook for 2 minutes.
10 – Now turn off the gas flame and transfer the mixture to a plate and smash the egg stuffing with the help of a fork or spoon.
Egg paratha recipe:
1 – For preparing 1 egg paratha make a dough ball around 3 to 4 inches like we make a dough ball for making chapati and divide it into 2 equal sizes.
2 – Flattened with the help of a rolling pin and make chapati of these 2 balls. Make sure your chapati will be thinner than you usually make.
3 – Now on one of the Chapati spread 1 teaspoon of tomato ketchup and then spread egg stuffing over it, then spread yellow yolk over it. Then spread grated cheese over it.
4 – Apply little water on the edges of this chapati and cover it with the other chapati and seal the edges. Your egg paratha is ready to cook.
5 – Turn on the gas and heat the frying pan on medium flame. Spread little (ghee or butter) or oil on it and put egg paratha on the pan for cooking.
7 – Pour the little ghee over the edge of the paratha to make it more crispy. Flip the paratha after a minute to Cook another side of the paratha and again spread little ghee on it
8 – When paratha changes its colour to little golden brown and gets aromatic then turn off the flame.
9 – Egg paratha with extra cheese is ready to serve.
10 – You can serve paratha as it is or with any type of chutney, pickle or curd and salad.

Notes:-
1 – Always cook parathas on medium flame, overcooking can disturb its test.
