I make this soup more often because it is my kid’s favorite. This soup should often be given to babies from above 8 months. If you have kids above 3 years, they may not like plain soup, then you can serve this soup with mashed chicken pieces in the soup by removing all the bones carefully or with noodles, rice, idli, dosa, etc.

Ingredients for Chicken Soup:

250 grams – Chicken pieces with bones
1 no. – Medium size chopped onion
1 tablespoon – chopped Coriander leaves
½ teaspoon – Cumin seed (Jeera) powder
½ teaspoon – Turmeric powder
1 teaspoon – chopped Garlic

 

Method for preparing Chicken soup with step by step photos:

 

1 – First, clear and cut chicken pieces, then wash chicken pieces 2 to 3 times with water.

Keep ready all ingredients, in a pressure cooker take chicken pieces then add salt as per taste, chopped onion, finely chopped ginger garlic, jeera powder coriander leaves turmeric powder, and add water (½  of the chicken pieces quantity)

2 – Pressure cook the chicken for 2-3 whistles on medium flame or until the chicken is cooked well.

 

3 – Once the pressure is released open the cooker. Make sure chicken pieces cooked well by pressing.
